"Developing and utilizing the power of (local) role models to identify and combat further polarization and radicalization in society," that is the common thread of the PolRad project. Five social organizations from the city and region of Groningen, the Netherlands, presented their results during the international conference in "De Oosterpoort" in Groningen on December 11th 2014. International and national speakers shed light on the developments in polarization and radicalization in their societies. In addition, various role models presented their ambition and work. I'd like to invite you to read the report that I wrote about this captivating and essential congress!
